Collection and valorisation
High-quality seeds for your crops
As Europe’s leading cereal collector, Soufflet Agriculture places crop valorisation at the heart of its mission. Every day, we support farmers in turning their harvest into a sustainable and profitable opportunity.
Europe’s leading collector
Soufflet Agriculture collects between 500,000 and 600,000 tonnes of raw materials (mainly rapeseed and sunflower) from farmers for biofuel production within a certified framework (2BSVS and ISCC).
Soufflet Agriculture also encourages the production of low-carbon rapeseed, wheat and sunflower by supporting farmers. Part of these certified low-carbon raw materials is intended for the biofuel supply chain.

The SAI Platform (Sustainable Agriculture Initiative)
Soufflet Agriculture actively participates in the marketing of “sustainable” malting barley under the SAI framework, which qualifies farms based on around 200 criteria.
The agronomist teams of Soufflet Agriculture (and Soufflet Malt) support farmers in implementing this approach and validating assessments.
The SAI Platform notably promotes an assessment tool, the Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA), used by more than 350,000 farms worldwide, recognising their level of maturity in sustainable agricultural practices across the value chain.
Certifications
Soufflet Agriculture has a strong and well-established food safety culture across all its operations. This approach is based on risk prevention and analysis, individual employee commitment and a continuous improvement dynamic.
It is reflected in concrete actions such as:
- CSA (Charte Sécurité Alimentaire) and GTP (Good Trading Practices) certification for all Soufflet Agriculture France silos, ensuring sanitary quality and traceability of raw materials and co-products;
- FCA (Feed Chain Alliance) certification for Soufflet Agriculture’s pelleting activity in Nogent-sur-Seine, guaranteeing feed safety and full traceability across the animal feed chain
“Semons du Sens” sustainable supply chains
Through the “Semons du Sens” initiative, we co-build sustainable, traceable and fair supply chains, based on demanding specifications and a reduced environmental footprint.
